Today you are one step closer to finding help and feeling empowered to do something potentially life changing for yourself and/or someone you love.  I have been in the field of healthcare for 25 years helping people find hope and healing for mental health issues, relationship issues, trauma care and  substance abuse.  I believe in the power of people to change and transform their lives, given the right amount of support, care, direction, and treatment.
As a therapist, I work with individuals, couples, and families who are in distress or facing a difficult situation or season of life.  As a trauma therapist, I treat those who suffer with acute stress disorder, PTSD, or have experienced traumas of various magnitudes which now are affecting their work and/or personal lives.

I have many tools for trauma informed care and treat trauma experienced in the general population at any age.  I also serve on the Fairfield County Trauma Response Team, providing clinical services and training for First Responders.  I am a certified EMDR therapist and have serve as an embedded clinician with the CT Army National Guard for 15 years.  As a Love First Clinically certified Interventionist, I have worked with families nationally and internationally who are struggling to fight the disease of addiction.  In addition to offering new hope for things to change, I am a seasoned professional who understands the pain and heartache you may be experiencing.  It can be a highly stressful and traumatic experience to have a loved one who cannot stop destructive behaviors, often in spite of devastating conseqences.
